How we use AI — and when you're talking to it

The chat assistant on this website is an AI bot, not a person. It says so up front, and we're saying it again here. This disclosure is required for commercial bots under California Business & Professions Code §17940 et seq. (SB 1001) — and it's also just how we'd want to be treated.

The bot isn't unsupervised, either. A human at Cret.ai reviews every lead and steps into any conversation that needs real judgment.

02How the voice demo works

The optional voice demo on our site uses your browser's built-in speech recognition to turn what you say into text. That transcript is then processed exactly like a typed chat message to generate a reply.

We don't store raw audio on this website. If you'd rather not use your microphone, just type — the demo works the same way.

03How our AI works for clients

When we build chat, voice, or SMS agents for a business, they follow the same rules:

• Clearly branded — each agent identifies itself as the AI assistant for that specific business. No pretending to be human.
• Trained on real information — agents answer from that business's actual services, hours, pricing, and policies, not generic guesses.
• Humans in the loop — when a conversation needs a person, the agent hands it off instead of bluffing through it.

Some of the content on this site is drafted with our own AI Content & Social Engine — the same product we set up for clients — and then reviewed and edited by humans before anything is published. We eat our own cooking, and we check it before serving.

05Your choices

• Ask for a human, anytime. Email [email protected] and a real person will reply.
• Opt out of texts. Reply STOP to any SMS from us and you won't get another.
• Skip the AI entirely. Nothing on this site requires you to talk to a bot to reach us.

06What our AI doesn't do

• It doesn't pose as a human, here or on any client site we build.
• It doesn't make commitments on pricing or contracts — humans do that.
• It doesn't sell your conversation data. Chat and voice inputs are used to respond to you and follow up on your inquiry, nothing more.

07Why we publish this

AI disclosure isn't a nice-to-have in California — it's the law for commercial bots. We practice it on our own site, and we set it up correctly for every client we automate: proper bot disclosure, SMS opt-out handling, and human escalation, built in from day one.
